By accessing or using Cost Comet ("the Service"), operated by Cost Comet LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Cost Comet allows users to upload transaction data from a bank or credit card statement (in CSV format) and receive an AI-generated breakdown of spending, including categorization, projections, insights, and savings suggestions. A free preview of the report is provided. Access to the full report is available via a one-time payment of $3.99, processed securely by Stripe.
3. No Financial Advice
The Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The analysis, projections, and savings suggestions generated by the Service are estimates based on the transaction data you provide and may not reflect your complete financial picture. Actual results will vary. Cost Comet LLC is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or planner. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making any financial decisions based on information from the Service.
4. Payments & Refunds
Payments for the full report are one-time charges of $3.99, with no recurring subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store your payment card details. Due to the immediate digital delivery of the report, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
5. Your Data
Transaction data you upload is processed in order to generate your spending report, including transmission to third-party AI providers for analysis. We do not sell your transaction data. Generated reports are not stored on our servers — if you purchase the full report, you are responsible for downloading and saving your own copy (e.g., as a PDF) before closing the page.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cost Comet LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, income, or profit, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
